Boyt H52SG Single Long Gun Case

I gave this case just 3 stars because it wouldn't close properly without leaving a gap in places on the outer seal. That said, my rifle is larger than average, being a 338 RUM with a large custom stock and an MK4 scope attached. I will try replacing the foam to get a better fit. I purchased it because of the extra length and great price, which were on the mark, but I wish it was at least another inch thicker on the interior.

Pros: Nice size and appears durable. Not so much: latches are wonky and harder than necessary to open/close; too much foam? (One Bergara scoped rifle is a TIGHT FIT); when closed, the case doesn’t sit upright very well (the hinge side is poorly designed so the case leans to one side when lying vertical)

From the stout twist locks, to the extra hard composite case, to the inner foam this is right! I include one with every custom gun I build. It compliments my services and in order to do this I have to have good quality components! Its right!

Coming from a leupold vx3l 4.5-14x56 had it changed for a vortex viper hs-t 6-24x50 optics wasnt quit as nice as my old leupold so I replaced it with a vortex pst gen II 5-25X50, I really liked the reticle and optics where way better from the hs-t but very bulky and heavy. Tried this scope at the local gun club and it image quality with the pst was about par with the zeiss, maybe a little more color in the zeiss, and lockable turrets its where I was sold on the zeiss. I am now on my third zeiss and sold all my other scopes, I will be replacing all my rifles with this scope. Forgot to mention I also bought a v6 5-30x50 which is a 2000k scope and there is nothing it can do better that the v4 except for the zoom but everything else is pretty much the same quality
