Bought for a Remington 700p and the fit was perfect no grinding for me.
One of the nicest of the aluminum BDL bottom metals. I like having the release button internal so branches will not trip it open. The only way to make it better would be to carve it out of billet aluminum.
Finish and quality is a big improvement over factory Remington bottom metal. My only complaint is the spring in the release lever is really stiff compared to the Remington.
Haven't been disappointed yet, I use this on all my BDL builds.
