Leupold Optics: New Product Line

It’s time to welcome some new products to our inventory. We now have Leupold optics available. We have rifle scopes in stock and spotting scopes coming soon. Each is a great option to incorporate into your long range equipment.

Let’s look at what these options are.

VX-5HD

This series of Leupold optics comes in two major magnifications (3-15x44 and 4-20x52) in our store and features a 5:1 zoom ratio. This helps ensure a good field of view and good magnification levels.

High definition glass helps keep the scope clear and the Guard-Ion coating helps keep those lenses clean from dirt and water.

There are a number of reticles available for the 3-15x44 and they include the FireDot Duplex, the Wind Plex, the Boone and Crockett, and the Duplex Reticles. Only the Duplex Reticle is currently available on the 4-20x52 scopes

VX-6HD

Another multi magnification series, the VX-6HD comes in 4-24x52 and 3-18x44 options. Designed with extremely clear glass, these Leupold scopes help ensure consistent color, resolution, and brightness when looking through them.

The VX-6HD includes a number of electronic additions to the scope including an illuminated reticle, Motion Sensor Technology which turns off the reticle after 5 minutes of inactivity, and an electronic reticle level.

The reticle level will flash the reticle when the scope is not in a level position. This helps you make better long distance shots without any additional equipment attached to the scope. Both magnifications come with a FireDot reticle option while a LR Varmint Hunter reticle is available for the 4-24x52 and a TMOA reticle is on the 3-18x44 alternative.

Mark 5HD

The Mark 5HD series features two magnifications, 5-25x56 and 3.6-18x44. These are first focal plane scopes with Zero Lock and Zero Lock Dials to maintain the optic’s zero once it has been set.

The PR1-MOA reticle is available in both the 5-25x56 and the 3.6-18x44 magnifications while the PR1-MIL reticle is only on the 3.6-18x44 and the TMR reticle is only available on the 5-25x56 models.

SX-4 Spotting Scope (Coming Soon)

This spotting scope comes in two magnification levels 15-45x65 and 20-60x85 with either straight or angled eyepieces. It is tripod compatible out of the box and gives you a good method for spotting in the woods and at the range.

The scope’s body is made of magnesium for durability and water resistance so your optic won’t fog up or fill with moisture out in the field. There is a difference in field of view between the two models. The higher magnification has a tighter field of view than the lower magnification model, which is normal for these types of scopes.

SX-5 Spotting Scope (Coming Soon)

This spotting scope offers 27-55x80 magnification in a durable package. The lenses are scratch and smudge resistant with high light transmission. The scope will work in temperatures ranging from -40 degrees to 160 degrees Fahrenheit.

When paired with a tripod, this spotting scope offers a comfortable method of observation to help you dial in your accuracy and spot game.
