This stock is a traditional hunting stock very similar in design and shape to a standard wood stock. Fits Remington 700 rifles with sporter/hunting barrel contour and features a full length aluminum bedding block and is available for use with a BDL hinged floorplate inlet in right hand.
Technical Specifications:
Both stocks were a drop in fit, barrel channels were centered and free floated, actions dropped in with no modifications, have not shot them yet due to weather but I am confident they will perform as expected

The stock was great as all the ones' I have purchased in the past. This one needed the barrel channel relived on the left side to allow the barrel to be completely free floated. This made the gap on the right side noticeably greater than the left side. I am sure the rifle will shoot OK as with all H S Precision stocks I have. Just a little disappointed in this one . Overall fit is good. However I did have to open up the barrel channel on the right side for a free float, left side was good. Had to file a bit around the floor plate, stock was a bit proud and the floor plate could not latch shut. Front action bolt that came with the stock was a bit shorter than the factory bolt. However an email to Red Hawk and a new one was on the way the next day. Overall very happy, would order again, wish they had a stock that would fit my 98 Mauser.
