It features a full length aluminum bedding block and new proprietary patent pending barrel channel centering set screws. It's a true drop in stock that will allow you to center the barrel channel regardless of the tolerances of the action.

I bought this stock knowing the barrel channel would have to be opened up. This was done very easily. This stock is the best replacement for a Weatherby Vanguard that I have found:

Very nice stock. 200% better than the original that came on my vanguard. Install was super easy and my groups are sub moa with factory ammunition. Will be even better when I start reloading my own ammo. Thanks Red Hawk! I will be buying more things from this group in the future.

The HS Precision stock for the Weatherby Vanguard is a beautifully crafted stock. The #2 barrel fit well in the barrel channel and is fully free floated. In my opinion every Weatherby Vanguard stock should be removed and replaced with a stock of at least this level of quality and precision.

Got a deal on a Howa Barreled Action . Installed the HS Precision Stock 2 weeks ago . What a beautiful package. The barrel centering system is a great added feature. I ordered another today to replace a Hogue on another Howa 1500. Absolutely love these stocks.
