The HS Precision PSV069 is a varmint stock for left-hand Remington 700 short action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. H-S Precision lists it at about 2 lbs 6 oz and 31.7 inches overall (our record shows 2.45 lbs and 31.25 inches) with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. The stock features a wide beavertail forend designed to ride shooting bags, a slender semi-pistol grip for smaller hands, full length aluminum bedding block, and a fixed comb. It is inlet for Remington 700 short action factory varmint barrel contours.

Designed to ride shooting bags or a bi-pod, the PSV069 at 31.7 inches overall weighs about 2 lbs 6 oz. The wide beavertail forend measures 2.25 inches at the widest point and tapers to 1.95 inches at the tip.

Full length aluminum bedding block

A proprietary CNC machined aluminum bedding block spans the receiver area.

Slender pistol grip for smaller hands

The semi-pistol grip measures 1.69 inches at the widest point, which H-S Precision suggests for shooters with smaller hands who do not prefer the larger palm swell found on other varmint stocks.

Left-hand inlet

Inlet for left-hand Remington 700 short action rifles with a BDL hinged floorplate. Right-hand rifles will not fit.

Forend sized for factory varmint barrels

The forend is shaped and sized for Remington 700 short action factory varmint barrel contours. The manufacturer lists a muzzle diameter of .831 inch at 24 inches.

Fitting it and the fine print

Will this stock fit my Remington 700?

This stock is inlet for left-hand Remington 700 short action rifles fitted with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It will not fit right-hand rifles or long action rifles.

What barrel contours fit this stock?

This stock is designed for Remington 700 short action factory varmint barrel contours with a muzzle diameter of .831 inch at 24 inches. The forend is 2.25 inches wide at the widest point and tapers to 1.95 inches at the tip. Standard and magnum contour barrels may fit but H-S Precision lists this as designed for factory varmint contours only.

Can I change the length of pull or use a detachable magazine?

H-S Precision offers custom lengths of pull from 12.50 to 14.50 inches in 0.25 inch increments at extra cost; our SKUs are the standard 13.5 inch. The stock is inlet for BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal only, but H-S Precision sells separate detachable magazine conversion kits that can be installed in this stock without any modification or gunsmithing.
