Navigation takes place via Google Maps® or the BaseMap® app. The hunter is guided to the location of the shot via compass needle or terrain map.

In doing so, Applied Ballistics® draws on G1/G7 coefficients and a database of up to 740 preset ammunition profiles. The upgrade Applied Ballistics Elite® can be easily purchased from the Applied Ballistics® App Store. Via the Bluetooth® interface, the hunter can transfer the ballistics profile, preset in the app, to the Leica Geovid Pro. The integrated ballistics calculator and the extensive stored values from Applied Ballistics® supply the most accurate solutions for a precise shot. Close, long, or in between.

Ambient data – such as barometric pressure, temperature, and angle – is taken into account. And with Applied Ballistics® on board, the Leica Geovid Pro models precisely calculate the simple distance, the equivalent horizontal range (EHR), as well as the correction values for holdover, units, and click adjustment.
