Get more adaptability for storage, transport and buttstock choice. The MDT universal adapters are compatible with most bolt-action chassis rifles that have an AR-style interface.
The folding stock adapter adds 1.75" to your length of pull.
We carry a 2-way locking configuration which maintains solid, straight-line integrity when shooting while also providing the additional function of holding the stock securely in the folded position.
This folder uses a Carbine to Carbine Interface.
COMPATIBILITY
This adapter has a solid interface and will not allow a bolt to pass through - please check your rifle configuration for compatibility. Is not compatible with the TAC21 chassis or our ESS chassis.
Carbine / Fixed Interfaces
MDT has been using the terms “Fixed” and “Carbine” to describe the interface between the chassis system and the buttstock. The “Fixed” chassis systems are recognizable by their “tear drop” shaped stock interface while the “Carbine” chassis systems are characterized by their “circular” shaped stock interface.
So when it comes to choosing the right adapter the choice will primarily be dictated by the shape of your chassis interface and the type of buttstock you have. However a variety of combinations are possible with the use of the folding stock adapter - allowing you to change your old buttstock to new buttstock with a different interface.
