Mesa Precision's all-new bottom metal for the Tikka T3 is major upgrade to your Tikka whether you are purchasing a new stock and need a bottom metal to go with it, or simply upgrading the cheap plastic trigger guard that comes from the factory. It is a drop in fit with a rounded profile minimize snagging/sharp edges.
The bottom metal looks well made, but I expected it to have a better finish, like that produced by Hawkins. The Tikka style bottom metal had bare metal, along with a dull primer finish, that will now have to be coated at an additional cost. For the price, I think that it should come coated or bare aluminum.
