The HS Precision PSS138 is a true drop-in sporter stock designed for Howa 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard long action rifles. It weighs about 2.35 lbs at 31.3 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block works with H-S Precision's proprietary Pro-Center Technology to center the barrel channel regardless of action tolerances.

The stock is built for Howa and Weatherby number 2 sporter contour barrels. The forend measures 1.95 inches at the widest point and tapers to 1.48 inches at the tip.
Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull, a fixed comb, and a semi-pistol grip at 1.61 inches. H-S Precision lists the stock as ambidextrous, with the inlet for right hand long actions.
Single rear stud and single front stud for traditional sling mounting. The stock has no checkering and a non-slip polyurethane finish.
