Full Description
The Rem 700 Special is an upgraded version of the Primary model which further enhances accuracy and precision on any right-handed Remington 700 model rifle. Utilizing CLKR Technology™, and some additional hand refinements, the pull weight on the Special model is quickly and confidently adjusted from 1.0 - 3.5 lbs in ~1oz increments from an externally accessible set screw. Due to the exceptionally crisp break, most shooters report the pull weights feeling ~0.5lbs lighter than a friction based trigger of the same measured weight. Just like the Primary model, this drop-in trigger provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short overtravel and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. Frictionless Release Technology™, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and an extended service life. As Frictionless Release Technology™ does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls will be more consistent from shot to shot and after thousands of shots than you ever thought possible.
*All pull weights and measurements are approximate.*
***Pull weights of TriggerTech Triggers are directly impacted by firing pin spring weight. Overweight firing pin springs may cause pulls weights to vary above the advertised range***

I've bought 3 of these triggers and think they are excellent and very easy to adjust. I would compare them with Timney anyday!

This is a wonderful trigger. Comparable to a Jewell, but smoother. I like the zero creep and easy adjustments. Far better than Timney standard products.

    Trigger Tech Special R700 Trigger

I’m a big fan of light crisp triggers and have a TT Diamond in my main match gun. Purchased this trigger for a R700 factory gun I got on clearance at a whim to replace the X-Mark factory trigger. It is a great trigger and is probably a perfect hunting trigger could not quite get down to the advertised 1lb trigger pull safely without the dropping the firing pin while slamming the bolt closed and had to adjust the pull weight up to about 1lb 6oz to get the trigger to operate completely without hiccup which is still acceptable. Other than being slightly disappointed in how low I could set the pull weight the trigger is a very clean and crisp trigger.

Trigger was right at a clean crisp 2 pounds on the digital Lyman, I backed it out about 6 to 8 clicks and got it down about 4 ounces. Teams very good, I am surprised by the amount of overtravel,.

Excellent trigger. The whole line of Trigger tech triggers are good, however the Special seems to be a balance of function and price that make it very perfect.
