Overview
The MDT LSS XL Gen 2 is an extended LSS chassis with a 3 inch longer forend. It accepts fixed stocks or AR-15 stocks without adapters, is 6061 aluminum with Cerakote, weighs 1.6 to 2.0 lbs, free-floats barrels to 1.350 inches, and takes AICS magazines. This listing is the Remington 700 short action inlet.
The foreend is 3 inches longer than the compact LSS, allowing a fixed buttstock and bipod placement further forward.
M-LOK pattern slots on all five sides of the forend for mounting accessories.
An ambidextrous magazine latch and a thumb rest above the trigger guard.
V-shaped bedding and a round profile underneath allow free-floating barrels up to 1.350 inch diameter.
Carbine buttstock interface for AR-15 carbine stocks, or fixed buttstock interface without adapters.
