Overview

Internal magazine boxes that extend cartridge overall length

Wyatt's Extended Length Internal Magazine Boxes feed longer cartridges in a Remington 700 BDL bottom metal than the factory box allows. Most models extend cartridge overall length by approximately 0.110 inch, and each matches an action length and cartridge family. Installation requires modification to the receiver and bolt, done by a competent gunsmith.

Seven models for different cartridge families

Choose MBE-2 or MBE-3 for long actions, MBE-4 or MBE-5 for short actions, the extra-extended MBE SA 3.100 for mid-length actions, or the PRC-specific models for 300 PRC (long action) or 6.5 PRC (short action).

Extended follower minimizes feeding travel

Wyatt's extends the follower as well, to minimize its fore and aft travel during feeding.

Complete kits with box, follower, and spring

Each kit includes the magazine box, extended follower, and spring.

Gunsmith installation required

These boxes replace the factory internal box. Our record states that installation requires modification to the receiver and bolt, done by a competent gunsmith.

Gunsmith modification required. These boxes do not drop into the factory BDL bottom metal. The receiver and bolt must be modified by a competent gunsmith. Choose the model by action length and cartridge family.

Which model should I order for my action?

Choose by action length first. Long actions: MBE-2 (standard and belted magnums), MBE-3 (Ultra Mags and cases larger than the standard belted magnums), or MBE LA 300 PRC for the 300 PRC family. Short actions: MBE-5 (standard cartridges such as 6.5 Creedmoor and 7mm-08), MBE-4 (WSM and RSAUM families), or MBE SA 6.5 PRC for the 6.5 PRC family.
