Verify cartridge COAL against magazine spec. The 2.95 in. maximum COAL accommodates short action magnum cartridges, but verify your loaded round's cartridge overall length before ordering. A cartridge loaded longer than the magazine's COAL limit will not chamber with the magazine loaded, or the tip may contact the feed lips and cause feeding problems.

How do I know which capacity to order?
Choose the round count based on your build. Three-round magazines carry less weight and fit more compactly in lightweight hunting rifles. Seven-round magazines work well for competition stages, practice, or when you need more shots between reloads. Both use the same COAL and fit the same AICS pattern bottom metals.
Will this magazine work with my AICS bottom metal?
Yes. Accurate-Mag AICS short action magazines are compatible with any AICS pattern bottom metal, including aftermarket chassis and custom gunsmith work.
What does COAL mean and why does it matter?
COAL is the cartridge overall length of your loaded round. This magazine is designed for cartridges with a maximum COAL of 2.95 inches. If your rounds are loaded longer than this, they will not chamber with a full magazine, or the bullet tip may contact the feed lips and cause failures to feed. Measure your loaded ammunition or check the cartridge specification, then order this magazine only if your COAL is at or below 2.95 inches.
