Precision receiver in 30.6 ounces with fluted bolt and interchangeable heads

Aero Precision SOLUS Lightweight action receiver: 416 stainless, Remington 700 footprint, available short or long. A fluted bolt body brings it to 30.6 oz with a 60-degree bolt throw.

The action uses a cock-on-lift design with dual ejectors and a fluted bolt body.

3-lug interchangeable bolt head

The bolt head swaps to match your barrel's bolt face: .382 Small, .455 PPC, .478 Standard or .540 Magnum, per our record and Aero's page.

Integral top rail and recoil lug

An integral 1913 rail with 20 MOA bias and an integral recoil lug.

Magnum ejection port

Large port accommodates long magnums up to 3.85" OAL in long action, 3.00" in short action.

Feeds AICS and AIAW magazines

Magazine cut accepts both AICS and AIAW pattern detachable boxes, with trigger installed via removable hanger.

Which bolt face and action length do I need?

Bolt face, per our record: .382 Small for 223/5.56 NATO and 300 BLK; .455 PPC for 22 ARC, 6mm ARC, 6.5 Grendel and 338 ARC; .478 Standard for 6mm/6.5 Creedmoor, 243 Win, 308 Win and 8.6 Blackout; .540 Magnum for 6.5 PRC, 7mm SAUM, 7mm WSM, 300 WSM, 7mm PRC, 300 Win Mag and 300 RUM.

Action length: Aero lists the short action for cartridges up to 3.00" OAL and the long action up to 3.850" OAL.

What barrels fit this action?

This action accepts Savage small shank pre-fit barrels with shouldered Zermatt Origin pattern tenons.

Will it work with my Remington 700 stock or chassis?

Yes. The SOLUS action is built on Remington 700 footprint, so it fits Remington 700 inlet stocks and most aftermarket chassis designed for that footprint. The integral recoil lug and 20 MOA top rail are already machined in. Verify that your stock or chassis accepts Remington 700 actions and AICS or AIAW magazines.

Can I use my existing magazines?

Only if they are AICS or AIAW pattern magazines. The magazine cut on this action accepts both patterns.
