ARCA clamp that mechanically locks an Atlas bipod in place
The Area 419 ARCALOCK Clamp mounts a B&T Atlas bipod to any standard ARCA/1.5 inch dovetail rail and locks it in place instead of just gripping by friction. It bolts directly to Atlas QD and NC style bipods using the bipod's own factory hardware, and a two-stage screw switches from a fast 16 TPI thread to a locking 32 TPI thread as it tightens. The clamp and knob are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat black anodize, with a 303 stainless steel screw.
Two-stage screw: 16 TPI free, 32 TPI locked
The coarse 16 TPI thread lets the clamp slide fast with no tension on it. Once the clamp meets the rail, it switches to a 32 TPI thread in the knob for extra locking torque.
About a quarter turn to loosen
A quarter turn backs the clamp out of the rail's locking detents so it can slide. A full turn releases the clamp from the rail entirely, no need to slide it off the end.
72.5 g, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum
Clamp and knob are machined in house from 6061-T6 aluminum with a 303 stainless steel screw, then finished in Type III hardcoat black anodize. The clamp alone weighs 72.5 g.
Cannot come apart while loosening
The moving side of the clamp is dovetailed on both sides to stop it from tilting, and the knob and screw are designed so the clamp will not fall apart even at full loosen.
Backward compatible with plain ARCA rails
Remove the three locking pins and the clamp still slides on any standard ARCA/1.5 inch dovetail rail, just without the mechanical lock.

Will this fit my Atlas bipod?
The ARCALOCK Clamp bolts to Atlas QD and NC style bipods using the bipod's own factory hardware. It does not fit Atlas 2-screw bipods, and an Atlas 5-H needs the Extension Spigot to use this clamp.
