Atlas BT-65 CAL Gen 2: cant and lock bipod, 4.9 to 9.2 inches, 63 degrees of cant
The Atlas BT-65 CAL (Cant And Lock) Gen 2 bipod has adjustable, preloaded cant with a KMW Pod-Loc tension lever and no pan. It has five leg positions, a 4.9 to 9.2 inch height range per Accu-Shot, and weighs 12.9 ounces per Accu-Shot (our record says 12.7). We stock it as the BT65-LW17 with the ADM-170-S lever and the BT65-NC no clamp model.
Cant and lock, no pan
Adjustable, preloaded cant of 63 degrees with the original KMW Pod-Loc tension lever. The CAL model has no pan.
5 leg positions, non rotating legs
Legs lock at 0, 45, 90, 135 and 180 degrees. The outer leg does not rotate around the inner leg, and the Gen 2 has larger, stronger inner legs, per our record.
Height 4.9 to 9.2 inches
6.4 inches at the 90 degree position, per Accu-Shot. Our record lists 4.8 to 9.2 inches. Footprint is 9 to 12.5 inches.
6061-T6, Mil-Spec Type III anodized
6061-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodize and heat treated stainless steel components. Black only.
Two mount versions
BT65-LW17 mounts directly to any 1913 Picatinny rail with the included ADM-170-S lever. BT65-NC (no clamp) has a two hole 1.100 inch pattern with 10-32 threads for a 17S size lever mount such as the ADM-170-S, ARMS 17S or LT271, most ARCA dovetail mounts with the same pattern, or the Atlas BT19 AI spigot or BT70 M-LOK adapter. Includes two 10-32 x 3/8 inch flathead socket screws.

Which version do I order?
BT65-LW17 if you want to mount straight to a 1913 Picatinny rail; it includes the ADM-170-S lever. BT65-NC if you already have a 17S size lever mount (ADM-170-S, ARMS 17S, LT271), an ARCA dovetail mount with the same 1.100 inch two hole pattern, or the Atlas BT19 AI spigot or BT70 M-LOK adapter.
How do I adjust the cant using the Pod-Loc lever?
The KMW Pod-Loc lever locks and unlocks the canting motion. Turn the lever clockwise to lock cant in position, counter-clockwise to unlock. You can adjust the lever position by pulling it directly away from the bipod body and rotating it to your preferred location. Preload on cant can be adjusted by removing the Pod-Loc lever and tightening or loosening the exposed nut by 1/8 to 1/4 turns.

No. CAL stands for Cant And Lock: it has 63 degrees of adjustable, preloaded cant with the KMW Pod-Loc lever and no pan.
