Clearance Conquest V4 6-24x50 with 80 MOA of elevation and a 1 MOA ballistic reticle
Clearance configuration: one Zeiss Conquest V4 6-24x50 with the non-illuminated #93 ZMOA-1 reticle and a capped windage turret, brand new in the box. It is a 30 mm second focal plane riflescope for long-range hunting and precision shooting, with 80 MOA of elevation on an external multi-turn turret with Ballistic Stop, 0.25 MOA clicks and side parallax from 10 yards to infinity. This is the only configuration on this listing, Zeiss order number 522951-9993-080; the illuminated ZMOAi-1 is a different scope.
6x to 24x with side parallax
A 4x zoom over a 50 mm objective, with parallax set on the side turret from 10 yards to infinity. Exit pupil runs 7.5 mm at 6x to 2.1 mm at 24x, and the field of view is 19 ft at 6x to 5 ft at 24x, both at 100 yards.
80 MOA elevation, 60 MOA windage
0.25 MOA clicks on an external multi-turn elevation turret. The Ballistic Stop gives an absolute, positive return to your set zero after dialing for distance. Windage on this configuration is a capped turret: zero it, cap it and hold wind with the reticle.
#93 ZMOA-1, 1 MOA marks
Hashmarks on both the horizontal and vertical crosshairs in 1 MOA graduations, for elevation and wind holds and for ranging. The marks sit on the crosshairs only, so the field of view stays open. Non-illuminated, so there is no battery to run down.
90% light transmission
ZEISS T* and LotuTec coatings on higher definition glass. Zeiss rates the scope at 90% to-the-eye transmission, with a twilight factor of 16.4 at 6x to 34.6 at 24x.
14.5 in long, 24.3 oz
Zeiss lists this order number at 24.3 oz and 14.5 in on a 30 mm main tube, nitrogen filled and waterproof to 400 mbar, rated for -13 F to +122 F.
Lifetime warranty plus 5-year no-fault
Zeiss lists this order number under its Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty, and Conquest V4 is on the Zeiss 5-Year No-Fault Policy list. The no-fault policy runs on Zeiss's terms: the original owner registers online within 60 days of purchase from an authorized ZEISS dealer in the USA or Canada.

Fitting it and the fine print
Is this the illuminated ZMOAi-1?
No. Zeiss uses the #93 number for two reticles. This scope, order number 522951-9993-080, has the non-illuminated ZMOA-1: the same 1 MOA hashmarks, no illumination and no battery. The illuminated ZMOAi-1 is Zeiss order number 522955-9993-080 and is not what this listing sells.
Capped or locking windage turret?
Capped. The elevation turret is external and multi-turn with the Ballistic Stop, so you dial distance and return to zero without counting. The windage turret is zeroed, then capped; wind is held with the 1 MOA marks on the horizontal crosshair. Zeiss's external locking windage versions of this scope are separate order numbers and are not on this listing.
Do the 1 MOA marks read true at every magnification?
No. The reticle sits in the second focal plane, so its marks keep the same size in the eyepiece while the image changes with magnification. Zeiss quotes the 1 MOA spacing at the scope's reference magnification. At other powers the subtension changes, and the ZEISS Hunting app works out the resulting drop and wind holds for a given load.
What warranty applies to a clearance scope?
This is a brand new scope in its box, not a demo. Zeiss lists this order number under its Transferable Limited Lifetime Warranty, and the Conquest V4 line appears on Zeiss's 5-Year No-Fault Policy list. The no-fault policy is Zeiss's and runs on Zeiss's terms: the original owner registers the scope online within 60 days of purchase, it must be bought from an authorized ZEISS dealer in the USA or Canada, and it can be used once per scope. Claims are filed with Zeiss online or by phone.
