5-25x magnification in a 34 mm tube with 120 MOA of dial travel
The Nightforce ATACR 5-25x56 MOAR is a demo unit in like-new condition, a second focal plane riflescope for long-range and tactical precision shooting. At 5x, a field of view of 18.0 feet at 100 yards gives you targets in context and faster target acquisition. At 25x, you resolve the smallest details at distance. That magnification range, packed into a 34 mm tube with 120 MOA of elevation adjustment, ZeroStop, and DigIllum illumination, covers most shooting from 100 yards to the edge of practical long-range.
5-25x in a 34 mm tube
A 20x magnification range over a 56 mm objective, delivering exit pupils from 10.5 mm at 5x down to 2.2 mm at 25x. The 34 mm tube is the standard for precision shooting and tactical applications, and 39 ounces keeps the scope balanced on a rifle.
MOAR reticle in second focal plane
The illuminated MOAR crosshair provides precise aiming points with 1 MOA windage and elevation spacing. In second focal plane, reticle holds are calibrated to 25x magnification. ZeroStop lets you dial elevation for distance and return to a hard mechanical zero.
120 MOA of elevation travel
Exceptional dial range for long-range precision shooting from 100 yards well beyond 1000 yards. The elevation turret is capped to prevent accidental adjustment in the field.
DigIllum and ZeroStop
Digital illumination with discrete brightness steps, keeping low settings genuinely low for night work without the wash-out of rheostats. Dial up to a distance and return to a hard zero.
Side parallax from 45 yards to infinity
Set parallax on the side turret with numbered distance marks, freeing the focus ring for other adjustments. The starting point of 45 yards suits long-range shooting.

Fitting it and the fine print
Can I use the MOAR reticle at lower magnifications?
Yes, but the MOA hold-over marks are only accurate at 25x. At 5x magnification, the reticle will appear much larger relative to your target, but the MOA spacing is not valid for ranging or holdover. You can still use the centre crosshair for aiming. If you need accurate reticle holds at any power, choose a first focal plane scope instead.
What does ZeroStop do?
ZeroStop is a mechanical hard stop on the elevation turret at your rifle's zero. You can dial up to any distance and confidently return to zero by turning the turret until it clicks and stops. Without ZeroStop, returning to zero requires careful counting of clicks and allows for human error.
What is DigIllum illumination?
DigIllum is Nightforce's digital reticle illumination, stepped through discrete brightness levels.
