Overview
Like-new Conquest V4 4-16x50 with 80 MOA of elevation and a Ballistic Stop
This Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x50 is a demo unit in like-new condition, a 30 mm second focal plane riflescope for mid-range hunting and precision shooting. It carries 80 MOA of elevation on a multi-turn turret with Ballistic Stop, 0.25 MOA clicks, side parallax from 10 yards to infinity and an illuminated reticle. Four reticle and windage turret combinations are listed as options; each option is its own demo unit and only the combinations shown are available.
4x to 16x with side parallax
A 4x zoom over a 50 mm objective, with parallax set on the side turret from 10 yards to infinity. Exit pupil runs 8.5 mm at 4x to 3.1 mm at 16x, and the field of view is 28.5 ft at 4x to 7.1 ft at 16x, both at 100 yards.
80 MOA elevation, 60 MOA windage
0.25 MOA clicks on an external multi-turn elevation turret. The Ballistic Stop gives an absolute, positive return to your set zero after dialing for distance.
90% light transmission
ZEISS T* and LotuTec coatings on higher definition glass. Zeiss rates the scope at 90% to-the-eye transmission, with a twilight factor of 11.7 at 4x to 28.3 at 16x.
Illuminated reticle, 10 levels
Brightness adjusts over 10 steps. On the MOA reticles only the center section lights up. All reticles run on a CR2032 battery.
14.5 in long, 23 oz
All configurations weigh 23 oz and are 14.5 in long on a 30 mm main tube, striking a balance between light-gathering and handling.
Three reticles, two windage turrets
Choose the #64 ZMOAi-T30, #68 ZBi or #93 ZMOAi-1, all illuminated, with a capped or an external locking windage turret depending on the reticle. The Detail section below says which reticle comes with which turret.

Fitting it and the fine print
Which reticle should I order?
All three are second focal plane and illuminated. Zeiss describes them this way:
- #64 ZMOAi-T30: 1 MOA marks with 30 MOA of holdover below center, for mid-range shooting and hunting with room to dial for distance.
- #68 ZBi: a tree pattern with 1 MOA marks and dots that give a holdover point for both drop and wind, built for terrain hunting.
- #93 ZMOAi-1: 1 MOA marks along the crosshairs only, so the field of view stays clear for close-range work and open sighting.
Capped or ballistic windage turret?
Not all reticles come with both options. Capped means you zero windage, cap it and hold wind with the reticle. Ballistic (external locking) means an exposed windage turret you can dial and lock.
- Capped windage: #64 ZMOAi-T30, #68 ZBi, #93 ZMOAi-1.
- External locking windage: #64 ZMOAi-T30 only.
Do the MOA marks read true at every magnification?
No. The reticle sits in the second focal plane, so its marks keep the same size in the eyepiece while the image changes with magnification. Zeiss quotes the 1 MOA spacing at the reticle's reference magnification. At other powers the subtension changes, and the ZEISS Hunting app works out the resulting drop and wind holds for a given load.
