Floating marine handheld GPS with satellite SOS
The Garmin GPSMAP 86i is a floating, water-resistant handheld GPS built for boaters who need onboard system data and satellite messaging in one unit. It streams data from compatible Garmin chartplotters and instruments, runs the Fusion-Link audio remote, and holds up to 35 hours of battery life at 10 minute tracking intervals. Two-way messaging, interactive SOS and marine weather forecasts route over the 100% global Iridium satellite network and require an active satellite subscription.
