The HS Precision PSL149 is a long range stock for Remington 700 long action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It weighs about 2.91 lbs and sits at 32.2 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block is installed, with one sling stud at the rear and two in the forend spaced 2 inches apart. H-S Precision pairs the vertical grip with an adjustable cheek rest for custom barrel shooters.

Built for aftermarket heavy sporter and light varmint contours, the forend is 2.27 inches wide at the recoil lug tapering to 2.0 inches at the tip. H-S Precision lists the wider barrel channel for #6 contours with a .750 inch muzzle diameter.

Fitting it and the fine print

Will this stock fit my rifle?

This stock is designed for Remington 700 long action rifles fitted with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It is not inlet for a short action, an M5 bottom metal or an ADL blind magazine. The stock is built for aftermarket heavy sporter and light varmint barrel contours with a .750" muzzle diameter.

How far does the cheek rest adjust?

The cheek rest has a 1.55 inch adjustment range, per H-S Precision.

Will it work with a standard factory barrel?

H-S Precision says it will work with a standard factory barrel contour, with a larger gap between the barrel and the forend. The barrel channel is sized for #6 contours with a .750 inch muzzle diameter.

Can I use a detachable magazine or M5 inlet?

This stock is inlet for Remington BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal only. HS Precision sells separate detachable magazine conversion kits that can be installed in this stock without any modification or gunsmithing. These kits adapt the stock to use detachable magazines while leaving the BDL opening intact. This stock is not inlet for M5 bottom metal.

What length of pull options are available?

The stock comes with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull as standard. Custom lengths are offered at an additional charge: 12.75", 12.50", 13.00", 13.25", 13.75", 14.00", 14.25", and 14.50".
