The HS Precision PSS016 is a traditional hunting stock for left-hand Remington 700 long action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It weighs about 2.2 lbs and measures 31.1 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. The stock features a traditional hunting forend shape with a semi-pistol grip, full length aluminum bedding block, and a fixed comb. It is inlet for standard sporter and hunting barrel contours.

Fitting it and the fine print

Will this stock fit my Remington 700?

This stock is specifically inletted for left-hand Remington 700 long action rifles fitted with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It will not fit right-hand rifles, short action rifles, M5 inlet rifles, or ADL blind magazine rifles.

What barrel contours fit this stock?

This stock is designed for standard sporter and hunting barrel contours with a muzzle diameter of .675 inch at 24 inches. Our record also lists standard and magnum contour barrels. HS Precision lists the forend as 1.94 inches at the widest point, tapering to 1.47 inches at the tip, sized for standard Remington 700 long action sporter barrels.

Can I change the length of pull or use a detachable magazine?

Custom length of pull options are available at checkout in 0.25 inch increments from 12.50 inches to 14.50 inches. The stock is inlet for BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal only, but HS Precision sells separate detachable magazine conversion kits that can be installed in this stock without any modification or gunsmithing.
