It's now easier than ever to convert your Remington 700 BDL hinged floor plate over to a detachable magazine box feeding system. HS Precision's stainless steel, black Teflon coated conversion kits include a new Pro Series Floor metal and magazine box. Additional magazine boxes are available in various capacities. The external dimension of the replacement floor metal is identical to those of the factory hinged floor plate, making these kits a direct drop in replacement with minor to no inletting required.

They are the best bottom metal on the market. The only issue I have with them on my last 20 or so builds I have to take .150 to .200 thousands of the front in the mill and .100 to.150 thousands of rear and somtimes mill a few spots to clear aftermarket triggers. Sounds like a lot of work but will feed perfectly if done correctly. You can mill stock down also. Whatever works this is my experience. Is a great product
Description is misleading with true drop in replacement. Not the case, requires some stock work to fit properly
Had to remove a considerable amount of aluminum from this Hogue overmolded stock. Additionally, the magazine had to be altered because of receiver interference. Maybe for most it is a simple drop in, but for me it certainly wasn’t. If you encounter this situation, you better have some skills.
Put this into and old brass pin BDL stock. Took some opening up with a file on the stock. Also had too remove a little metal on the receiver. Overall though I was very pleased. Used this for a 28 nosler build and fits 180s easy.
