Traditional sporter stock for the Remington Model 7, about 2.19 lbs

The HS Precision PSS050 is a traditional hunting stock for Remington Model 7 short action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It weighs about 2.19 lbs and sits at 29 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block is installed, and the stock is drilled for one sling stud in the rear and one in the forend.

A traditional hunting shape at 29 inches overall, weighing about 2.19 lbs, with a forend that tapers from 1.94 inches at the widest point to 1.43 inches at the tip.

Full length aluminum bedding block

A proprietary CNC machined aluminum bedding block spans the receiver area, bedding the action without additional fitting.

Fixed comb, semi-pistol grip

Fixed comb (our record says no cheek piece) and a 1.40 inch semi-pistol grip per H-S Precision.

13.5 inch length of pull, standard

Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull and a standard hunting foregrip, no checkering, and a non-slip polyurethane finish.

Two sling stud positions

One rear stud and one front stud, H-S Precision's proprietary sling swivel studs.

Drop in fit for Model 7

Yes, if your rifle is a Remington Model 7 short action with a BDL hinged floor plate. This stock is an inlet match for the Model 7 action, not the larger Remington 700. The stock fits sporter or hunting barrel contours at standard muzzle diameter (.557" for sporter profiles).

Can I use detachable magazines with this stock

The stock is inlet for the Remington BDL hinged floor plate. H-S Precision sells detachable magazine conversion kits separately.

Does this fit my barrel contour
