The HS Precision PSV140 is a true drop-in varmint stock designed for Howa 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard short action rifles. It weighs about 2.35 lbs at 30.8 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block works with H-S Precision's proprietary Pro-Center Technology to center the barrel channel regardless of action tolerances.

The stock is built for Howa and Weatherby number 6 varmint contour barrels. The forend measures 1.95 inches at the recoil lug and tapers to 1.82 inches at the tip.
Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull, a fixed comb, and a semi-pistol grip at 1.61 inches. H-S Precision lists the stock as ambidextrous, with the inlet for right hand short actions.
Single rear stud and single front stud for traditional sling mounting. The stock has no checkering and a non-slip polyurethane finish.
