Adjustable tactical stock for Remington 700 short action with integral cheekpiece and A-5 butt hook
The McMillan A3-5 Tactical Stock is a tactical platform for Remington 700 short action rifles. It combines an A-3 profile with an A-5 type butt hook, and comes standard with an adjustable integral cheekpiece that allows both vertical and horizontal adjustments. The stock is built on aluminum pillar bedding and includes a 1 inch Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad.
Adjustable integral cheekpiece
Gives both vertical and horizontal adjustment, with either the standard or the thumb wheel elevator system.
A-5 type butt hook
An A-5 type butt hook on the bottom of the butt. The flat on the bottom of the hook is about 3/4 inch wide.
Aluminum pillar bedding
Machined in aluminum pillar bedding.
Drop-in fit for Remington 700 short action
Designed as a drop in fit for a Remington 700 short action with right hand bolt, inlet for Badger M5 DBM bottom metal. Fits Sendero and Proof Sendero Lite barrels.
Flush cups and dual swivel studs
Flush cups on left side front and back. Dual front swivel studs on front and one in back for sling mounting options.

Does the A3-5 come with bottom metal?
No. The stock is inlet for Badger M5 DBM bottom metal, which is not part of this listing.
What is the difference between the A3-5 and the A-3?
The A3-5 is a variation of the A-3 with an A-5 type butt hook added to the bottom of the butt. The flat on the hook is about 3/4 inch wide. Both models use an adjustable integral cheekpiece and aluminum pillar bedding.
Can I use the standard or thumbwheel cheekpiece adjustment?
Yes. The A3-5 is available with either the standard elevator system or the thumbwheel system.
