Overview
Compact ambidextrous hunting stock with A-3 vertical grip
The Game Scout combines a Remington Classic design with the popular A-3 vertical pistol grip for Remington 700 long actions. The ambidextrous profile has no cheek piece, works for either-eye shooting, and fits standard and magnum contour barrels up to a number 4. At approximately 32 oz, it sits between a featherweight and a traditional hunting stock.
Ambidextrous profile with no cheek piece
No cheek piece, so it shoulders from either side. McMillan lists drop at comb and drop at heel at 0.563 inch.
A-3 vertical pistol grip on Remington Classic lines
Combines the grip ergonomics from McMillan A-series tactical stocks with a compact hunting profile. Grip to tip is 19.25 inches.
Fits standard and magnum contour barrels up to number 4
Accommodates Douglas and similar contour barrels in the standard to magnum range.
Aluminum pillar bedding, 1 inch Pachmayr Decelerator
Machined-in aluminum pillars and a 1 inch Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, with a BDL hinged floor plate inlet. Length of pull is 13.5 inches without the pad.
