An 8x zoom in a 13.4-inch scope with ZeroStop and DigIllum
The Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 F1 is a first focal plane riflescope in Dark Earth finish with a 30 mm tube, 90 MOA of elevation travel, ZeroStop, DigIllum illumination and side parallax adjustment. It is 13.4 inches long and weighs 28.6 ounces.

An 8x zoom over a 50 mm objective, delivering exit pupils from 7.3 mm at 4x down to 1.6 mm at 32x and a field of view from 26.1 ft to 4.6 ft at 100 yards.
First focal plane
The reticle scales with magnification, so the MOA or Mil marks read the same at any power. Reticle options are MOAR, MIL-XT and TREMOR3.
90 MOA elevation travel
90 MOA (26 MRAD) of elevation and 70 MOA (20 MRAD) of windage travel, in 0.250 MOA or 0.1 MRAD clicks depending on reticle.
ZeroStop and DigIllum
ZeroStop returns the elevation turret to a mechanical zero after dialing. DigIllum digital reticle illumination is standard.
Side parallax from 11 yards to infinity
Parallax adjusts on the side turret from 11 yards to infinity.

What is the difference between first focal plane and second focal plane?
In a first focal plane (F1) scope the reticle scales with magnification, so its MOA or Mil marks read the same at any power. In a second focal plane scope the reticle stays the same size and its marks are correct at one magnification only.
Which reticle should I choose?
MOAR is an MOA reticle with 1 MOA spacing and 0.250 MOA clicks. MIL-XT is a Mil reticle with extended hold points and 0.1 MRAD clicks. TREMOR3 is the Horus TREMOR3 Mil reticle. Pick the unit you dial and hold in; all three are first focal plane.
Can I dial elevation or do I hold over with the reticle?
You can do both. The elevation turret has ZeroStop, so you can dial for distance and return to your zero, and every reticle option carries holdover marks for shots where there is no time to dial.
What is DigIllum?
DigIllum is Nightforce's digital reticle illumination system, standard on this scope.
