***NEW UPDATED DESIGN!***
A must-have tool for removing the firing pin from the bolt shroud assembly on Remington style bolt action rifles. Simply screw the firing pin assembly into the tool and tighten the threaded steel screw to compress and capture the mainspring. The recessed and shouldered shank of the screw protects the firing pin tip and slides over the pin to compress the spring until the cross pin can be driven out with a punch, and the spring tension relieved by gradually loosening the shank.
This tool will fit standard Remington 700 firing pins, but will also accommodate the bayonet style lugs found on many Remington 700 clones such as Mesa Precision Arms, Zermatt Arms, and BAT Machine.
This tool is coated in Cerakote™ for a durable, long-lasting, finish that will resist chemicals and oils.
