Snowy Mountain Rifles Precision Rifle Barrels are hand lapped stainless steel blanks, 29 inches long, ready for threading, chambering and crowning by your gunsmith. This is the .284 (7mm) bore in 1:8 twist, offered in four contours: Heavy Palma, M24, MTU and 1.25 straight taper. All blanks come unthreaded, unchambered and uncrowned.

Precision Rifle Barrels are machined from stainless steel. The barrel is lapped and ready for threading, chambering and crowning by a gunsmith.

This is a blank, not a finished barrel. It must be chambered, threaded, crowned and installed by a certified gunsmith. The gunsmith will cut the barrel to final length during finishing. Rifle barrels ship for a flat $14.95 per order, any quantity, and do not qualify for free shipping.

Fitting it and the fine print

Is this a finished barrel?

No. This is a blank and must be finished by a certified gunsmith. The gunsmith will chamber, thread, crown and install the barrel, cutting it to final length during the finishing process.

Which contour should I order?

Four contours are available: Heavy Palma, M24, MTU and 1.25 straight taper, each with an 1:8 twist rate at 29 inch blank length. Contour dimensions are shown in the product images.
