The Swarovski STC 17-40x56 is a straight-view spotting scope built for hunters who need to keep pack weight down. At 11.2 in long and 34.6 oz (980 g), it is short enough to ride in a backpack side pocket. The half shell lets it rest on a flat surface without a tripod, and it pairs with the VPA 2 adapter for digiscoping.
