Overview
The Timney Featherweight trigger is a hand-fitted, precision-machined replacement for the Ruger M77 Mark 1 with tang safety. It is fully adjustable for pull weight, creep and overtravel, with pull weight adjustable from 1.5 to 4 pounds. The lightweight alloy housing and hardened steel working surfaces are built to hold that adjustment through heavy use.
Set screws move pull weight anywhere from 1.5 up to 4 pounds, with a 3 pound factory setting, so the trigger breaks where you want it.
Each trigger is precision machined and hand-fitted rather than mass assembled, for a crisp pull in place of the factory unit's takeup.
Beyond pull weight, the trigger adjusts for creep and overtravel, so slack before and after the break can be dialed out.
The housing is a lightweight alloy while the working surfaces are machined and hardened steel, built to hold the adjustment over time.
Fits as a drop-in replacement without a gunsmith, though our record notes minor fitting may be required.
