Overview
Single-stage pull adjustable from 8 ounces to 2 pounds, built left hand
Timney's HIT is a single-stage, left-hand replacement trigger for the Remington 700 and its clones, built for long-range and competition shooting. Pull weight adjusts from 8 ounces up to 2 pounds, with the Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock (SEAL'd) design locking in that setting and overtravel. The black-finish trigger and shoe are heat treated to 56 Rockwell with an NP-3 plated sear for lubricity.

Pull weight adjusts across the full range, from an 8-ounce factory setting up to 2 pounds.
SEAL'd adjustment lock
The Sear Engagement Adjustment Lock design locks in pull weight and overtravel adjustments so they hold under use.
56 Rockwell hardness
Sear and trigger shoe are heat treated to 56 Rockwell, with a black oxide coating on the trigger and an NP-3 plated sear.
Machined, not stamped
Every part is machined; Timney does not use metal injection molded or stamped parts in the HIT.
