A .224 carbon fiber barrel blank with 5R cut rifling, ready for your gunsmith

The Benchmark Barrels .224 carbon fiber barrel blank is a blank for a gunsmith to chamber, thread and install. It comes in Sendero Light contour, with 1:8 twist in 20 and 24 inch finish lengths. Every Benchmark barrel is individually double hand lapped and double stress relieved.

5R rifling

Benchmark rifles these blanks with 5R rifling.

416R and 4140R steel core

Benchmark uses 416R and 4140R steel for the core, wrapped in carbon fiber.

Sendero Light contour

Offered in 20 and 24 inch finish lengths with 1:8 twist, per our options.

Double hand lapped, stress relieved

Each blank is individually hand lapped to a consistent bore and double stress relieved. Quality control includes both proprietary and industry-standard inspection methods.

What finish length should I order?
