Curtis Hybrid Hunter Gen 2: 22.3 oz short action, Wyatt's MBE BDL box configuration
The Hybrid Hunter Gen 2 is Curtis Custom's lighter version of the Hybrid: 22.3 ounces for the short action complete with lug, 24 ounces for the long action. It is a 3 lug, 60 degree bolt action with a Remington 700 footprint, machined from one piece of 416 stainless steel, sold in the Wyatt's MBE BDL box configuration. Each action includes a screwed and pinned two piece 20 MOA rail and a double pinned recoil lug.

Curtis Custom took the original Hybrid and gave it a diet. The short action weighs 22.3 ounces complete with lug; the long action 24 ounces.

20 MOA rail and double pinned recoil lug included
Each action includes a screwed and pinned black anodized aluminum two piece 20 MOA rail and a double pinned recoil lug.

What is the difference between Standard and Magnum bolt faces?
Standard is the .480 inch bolt face, which accepts .308 Winchester class cartridges. Magnum is the .540 inch bolt face, which accepts magnum class cartridges. Both come in short action and long action.

Why does this action require FFL transfer?
The Hybrid Hunter Gen 2 is a firearm receiver. Federal law requires that firearm receivers be transferred only to the holder of a valid Federal Firearms License. You will arrange with a licensed dealer to receive it on your behalf, and Red Hawk Rifles will ship it only after receiving a copy of their FFL.
