Defiance’s Superior Quality at a Great Value
As Defiance has grown it has gained more equipment and more abilities. The already popular Tenacity has been updated with these advances to now come standard with an integral recoil lug. With the integral recoil lug and precision machined bolt the Tenacity guarantees a headspace tolerance of +/- .001″ action to action.
Since some shooters and hunters don’t always need custom options, Defiance has introduced a well-designed, precision rifle action at a great value. The Tenacity is machined from the same steels and to the same tolerances as the Rebel and Deviant. Limited options (see below), but a versatile design that delivers either on the range or deep in the wilderness.

I purchased this action in the medium (Rem S/A), LH configuration for a 308 win build. I have never and I mean never, had an action as smooth in operation, as the Tenacity! The action comes with EVERYTHING you will need to start your custom build. One point to consider is; since this action comes with its own bolt release setup, you will need to order a trigger that comes w/o the bolt release button or have it disabled before you install it to this action. Simply beautiful AMERICAN craftsmanship, you will not regret purchasing this top tier in quality, action. RHR has THE best pricing, selection and customer service in the biz! I build lots of rifles on trued Remington actions. I'd way prefer to build on the Defiance Tenacity action as a trued Remington. I just finished up one on a Tenacity in 6.5 Creedmoor last week. My customer texted me and said it was shooting 3/4" trying to worry me. His next text was @500 yards. The recoil lug is now integral as is the bolt handle has been for quite awhile. The picatinny rail is bolt on which I prefer as it lets me use Talley rings if I choose instead of the picatinny rail to get the scope mounted as low as I can.
