Viking Armament barreled action, hand fit and sub 1/2 MOA guaranteed
This Red Hawk Rifles barreled action pairs a Defiance Ruckus action with a Bartlein carbon fiber barrel, chambered and headspaced by hand by Viking Armament. Each one is built to order in your caliber and contour, Cerakote finished, and backed by a sub 1/2 MOA accuracy guarantee. Standard lead time is around 14 weeks.
Sub 1/2 MOA accuracy guarantee
Every barreled action is manually spun and hand fitted to plus or minus one ten thousandth of an inch. We do not ship it if it misses the guarantee. This assumes the complete rifle is properly and professionally assembled, since stock, bedding, bottom metal and ammunition all affect what you see on target.
Defiance Ruckus Tactical, most rigid receiver
Machined from one piece of pre-hardened 416 stainless with an integral 1913 Mil spec (picatinny) scope base and recoil lug, and a one-piece 4340 chrome moly bolt guaranteed to +/- .001" headspace. Average configuration weighs 30 to 32 oz depending on length.
Bartlein carbon fiber barrel
5R single point cut rifling over a match grade stainless steel core, wrapped in a carbon fiber resin tested stable past 500 degrees F. Pre-lapped before rifling and finish lapped after, so no fire lapping is needed.
Meraki Machine M1 brake included
Every barrel ships with a 3 port Meraki Machine M1 brake and is threaded 5/8-24 TPI (1/2-28 for .223) to fit aftermarket brakes and suppressors.
Cerakote ceramic finish
Ships bead blasted stainless, gloss black Cerakote, or a Cerakote color you specify at order.

Barrels over 26 inches may add to lead time, and once your build sheet is confirmed the order cannot be modified, so double check every option before checkout. Ships to an FFL only. This is a firearm receiver: forward your FFL's information to Red Hawk Rifles and complete the transfer at their counter; your dealer's transfer fee is between you and them. Barreled actions ship for a flat $14.95 per order regardless of quantity and do not qualify for free shipping due to their size and handling requirements.

How does the accuracy guarantee work?
Viking Armament guarantees each barreled action will hold sub 1/2 MOA, and we do not ship one that misses. That figure holds when the complete rifle is properly and professionally assembled: stock/chassis fitment, bedding, bottom metal, and the ammunition or handload you run can all affect what you see on target.
What is included and what is not?
Included: the Defiance Ruckus Tactical action, Bartlein carbon fiber barrel chambered and headspaced to your caliber, Cerakote finish, and a Meraki Machine M1 muzzle brake threaded on. Not included: stock, bottom metal, scope, rings or bases.
How does ordering and shipping work?
Select your caliber, barrel contour, length and finish and check out. We email a build sheet to confirm every option; once you approve it, Viking Armament starts machining and the order cannot be changed. Because this is a firearm receiver, it ships only to a licensed FFL that you choose, and your local dealer completes the transfer.
