An 8x zoom in a 13.4-inch scope with ZeroStop and DigIllum
The Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 F1 is a first focal plane riflescope with a 30 mm tube, 90 MOA of elevation travel and ZeroStop. This unit is a demo in like-new condition. DigIllum digital illumination is standard. The MIL-XT F1 reticle carries an extended Mil design with additional hold points and 0.1 MRAD clicks.

An 8x zoom over a 50 mm objective, delivering exit pupils from 7.3 mm at 4x down to 1.6 mm at 32x and a field of view from 26.1 ft to 4.6 ft at 100 yards.
First focal plane
The reticle scales with magnification, so the Mil marks read the same at any power. MIL-XT carries a floating center dot and hold points at 0.2 Mil intervals, with whole Mil numbering for reference.
90 MOA elevation travel
90 MOA (26 MRAD) of elevation and 70 MOA (20 MRAD) of windage travel, in 0.250 MOA or 0.1 MRAD clicks depending on reticle.
ZeroStop and DigIllum
ZeroStop returns the elevation turret to a mechanical zero after dialing. DigIllum digital reticle illumination is standard.
Side parallax from 11 yards to infinity
Parallax adjusts on the side turret from 11 yards to infinity.

What is the difference between first focal plane and second focal plane?
In a first focal plane (F1) scope the reticle scales with magnification, so its MOA or Mil marks read the same at any power. In a second focal plane scope the reticle stays the same size and its marks are correct at one magnification only.
How do I use the MIL-XT reticle for ranging and holdover?
The MIL-XT F1 reticle has a floating center dot with hold points at 0.2 Mil intervals and whole Mil numbering, and the turrets adjust in 0.1 MRAD clicks, so you can hold with the reticle or dial with the turret in the same unit.
What is DigIllum?
DigIllum is Nightforce's digital reticle illumination system, standard on this scope. It illuminates the entire reticle pattern.
