The Grayboe Phoenix 2 is a fiberglass stock for Remington 700 actions with one-hand adjustable length of pull and cheek riser. Built from a fiberglass and carbon-epoxy composite with aluminum pillar bedding, it accommodates M5 bottom metal and universal Remington 700 inlets. It weighs approximately 39 ounces and comes with a 1 inch Grayboe recoil pad.

Adjustable length of pull

One-hand adjustable from 12.5 inches to 13.5 inches, fitting shooters of different sizes without special orders.

Adjustable cheek riser

One-hand adjustable cheek riser allows custom head position and scope height alignment for comfort and precision.

Six quick detach mounting points

M-LOK rail on the forend has two QD sling attach points, plus four flush cups on the sides and one on the buttstock.

M5 bottom metal compatible

Accepts M5 DBM (detachable box magazine) and M5 floorplate options. Magazine pattern compatibility depends on the bottom metal system chosen.

Aluminum pillar bedding

Machined aluminum pillars are pre-installed. Glass bedding is not required, but the receiver area can be bedded for additional rigidity.

Universal Rem 700 inlet

Fits Remington 700 actions and most aftermarket clones with barrel contours up to 1.250 inch straight barrel diameter.

Fitting it and the fine print

Does this stock fit my Remington 700 clone?

Yes, if your action is a Remington 700 clone with barrel contours up to 1.250" straight diameter. Actions like Bergara, Defiance, BigHorn, Stiller and Impact generally fit without modification. If your barrel is larger than 1.250" straight diameter, the forend may require fitting.

What bottom metal does this stock accept?

The Phoenix 2 is inlet for M5 bottom metal only. It accepts M5 DBM (detachable box magazine) and M5 floorplate systems. Bottom metal is not included; order separately. Magazine pattern compatibility depends on which M5 system you choose.

Does this fit short, medium, and long actions?

Yes. The universal Remington 700 inlet accepts short actions, medium (magnum), and long actions. The adjustable length of pull (12.5" to 13.5") fits a wide range of shooter sizes with one stock for any action length.
