Lightweight fiberglass stock with adjustable length of pull for Remington 700 actions

The Grayboe Trekker is a fiberglass and carbon-composite stock designed for backcountry hunting with Remington 700 actions and clones. It features a universal barrel channel inlet that accommodates contours from Sporter to Proof Sendero diameter, an adjustable length of pull from 13.25 inches to 16 inches, and M5 or BDL bottom metal compatibility. The stock includes a bubble level, aluminum pillar bedding, and a Grayboe memory foam recoil pad.

Adjustable length of pull from 13.25 to 16 inches

Out of the box it is 13.75 inches, and you can adjust it by adding or removing spacers to fit any shooter size without special orders.

Universal barrel channel inlet

Fits Remington 700 actions and most aftermarket clones with barrel contours from Sporter diameter all the way up to Proof Sendero contour, no modifications required.

M5 and BDL bottom metal compatible

Accepts M5 detachable box magazines (DBM) and M5 floorplate systems as well as traditional BDL bottom metal options.

Built-in bubble level

A level vial is molded into the buttstock to help ensure your rifle sits level before taking a shot.

Straight-line design and forend space

Rifle sits in a straight line from the rear action tang to the tip of the forend, with flat forend space for mounting Arca rails or other accessories.

Multiple sling attachment points

Three sling studs (2 in front, 1 in back) on the buttstock with 3-inch spacing between front studs. Accepts standard hunting and tactical slings.

Fitting it and the fine print

Does the Trekker fit my Remington 700 clone?

Yes, if your action is a Remington 700 clone with a barrel contour from Sporter diameter up to Proof Sendero diameter. The stock inlet is universal and requires no modifications for common contours.

What is the length of pull and is it adjustable?

Out of the box the Trekker length of pull is 13.75 inches. Using the spacer system and Grayboe memory foam pad, you can adjust it down to 13.25 inches (all spacers removed) or up to 16 inches (with additional spacers purchased separately).

What bottom metal does the Trekker accept?

The Trekker is inlet for both M5 bottom metal systems and traditional BDL floorplate systems. M5 options include DBM (detachable box magazine) and M5 floorplate. Bottom metal is not included; order separately. Magazine pattern compatibility depends on which bottom metal system you choose.

Does this stock fit short action, medium, and long action rifles?

Yes. Our options list short action and long action inlets; select the one that matches your rifle.
