Finish and quality is a big improvement over factory Remington bottom metal. My only complaint is the spring in the release lever is really stiff compared to the Remington.

3 This bottom metal will get the job done, hinge pin is undersized on mine. Its an easy fix, but shouldnt have needed to do it.

I have other 2 other rifles that have a different brand's of bottom metal, one cost less, the other a little more. Overall as far as fit,and price the PTG bottom metal on the one rifle is the best of the 3 bottom metals. I have read reviews that were just opposite of this one, which leads me to believe that there can be slight variations with in a given production run.
