Overview
Stainless long action magazine with polymer boot for easy removal
The HS Precision long action detachable magazine is built from stainless steel with a black Teflon coating and designed to work with HS Precision Gen II floor metals. The polymer boot on the bottom acts as a contact point for the spring tension wheels on the floor metal, making the magazine easy to remove and install even when wearing gloves.

The rubber boot at the bottom provides a contact surface for the floor metal's spring wheels and makes magazine removal and installation easy, even with gloves.
Gen II design
New design with a four-digit number stamped on the side. Will not fit older Gen I floor plates from conversion kits purchased before 2012.
Three to eight rounds
Our options: 3 round in Magnum, RUM or Standard; 4 round in Standard; 7 round in RUM or 6.5x284; 8 round in Magnum or Standard.

Not compatible with Gen I. These magazines are designed for HS Precision Gen II floor metals only. If you purchased a conversion kit before 2012, these magazines will not fit your floor plate. Gen II magazines have a four-digit number stamped on the side.

Will these magazines work with my floor plate?
These HS Precision magazines are for Gen II floor metals only. Check your floor plate for a four-digit number stamped on the side. If you purchased your conversion kit before 2012, you have a Gen I floor plate and these magazines will not fit. Gen I and Gen II are not interchangeable.
What cartridges does my magazine size fit?
The 3 round box comes in Magnum, RUM or Standard long action versions. The 4 round comes in Standard only. The 7 round and 8 round boxes come in Magnum, RUM, or Standard long action versions, with 7 round also available in 6.5x284. Internal length is 3.70 inches, or 3.10 inches with the spacer for cartridges like 6.5x284.
Can I install this magazine with gloves on?
Yes. The polymer boot at the bottom of the magazine acts as a contact surface for the spring tension wheels on your floor metal, making the magazine easy to grip, remove, and install even when wearing heavy gloves.
