The HS Precision PSS009 is a traditional hunting stock for Remington 700 long action rifles with ADL blind magazine bottom metal. It weighs about 2.36 lbs and sits at 31.1 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block is installed, and the stock is drilled for one sling stud in the rear and one in the forend.

A traditional hunting shape at 31.1 inches overall, weighing about 2.36 lbs, with a forend that tapers from 1.94 inches at the widest point to 1.47 inches at the tip.

Full length aluminum bedding block

A proprietary CNC machined aluminum bedding block spans the receiver area, bedding the action without additional fitting.

Fixed comb and ambidextrous design

The stock features a fixed comb and is ambidextrous, so either left or right handed shooters can work comfortably with the 1.61 inch semi-pistol grip.

13.5 inch length of pull, standard

Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull and a standard hunting foregrip, no checkering, and a non-slip polyurethane finish.

Two sling stud positions

One rear stud in the butt and one front stud in the forend for attachment of slings, bipods or other supporting gear.

Fits sporter and hunting barrel contours

Designed for Remington 700 long actions with sporter or hunting barrel contours, including most aftermarket barrels at standard muzzle diameter.

Will this stock fit my rifle?

This stock is designed for Remington 700 long action rifles fitted with ADL blind magazine bottom metal. It is not inlet for a BDL hinged floorplate or a short action. The stock accommodates sporter and hunting barrel contours.

What is an ADL inlet and how is it different from BDL?

ADL (without letters) is a Remington blind magazine design where the cartridges feed from an enclosed box magazine mounted inside the stock. BDL is a hinged floorplate design. The two are not interchangeable. This stock is inlet for ADL blind magazine feeding only. Check your rifle's bottom metal type before ordering.

Can I use an M5 inlet or detachable magazine?

This stock is inlet for Remington ADL blind magazine bottom metal only. HS Precision sells separate M5 or AICS inlet conversion kits that can be installed in this stock without any modification or gunsmithing. These kits adapt the stock to use detachable magazines while leaving the ADL opening intact.

What barrel contours fit the forend?

The stock is designed for sporter and hunting barrel contours (HS lists a .675" muzzle at 24"). The forend width is 1.94" at its widest point and tapers to 1.47" at the tip.
