The HS Precision PSS120 is a lightweight hunting stock with a thumbhole grip for Remington 700 short action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It weighs about 2 lbs 9 oz and sits at 30.3 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block is installed, the right hand thumbhole grip is 1.62 inches at its widest point, and the stock is drilled for one sling stud in the rear and one in the forend.

A right hand thumbhole grip allows the shooting hand to rest in a secure, natural position for hunting and sustained fire. The 1.62 inch grip width at the widest point suits standard hand sizes.

A traditional hunting shape at 30.3 inches overall, weighing about 2 lbs 9 oz, with a forend that tapers from 1.95 inches at the widest point to 1.58 inches at the tip and a forend length of 10 inches.

Full length aluminum bedding block

A proprietary CNC machined aluminum bedding block spans the receiver area, bedding the action without additional fitting or gunsmithing.

Fixed comb and lightweight handling

The stock features a fixed comb with no cheek piece, a non-reflective and non-slip polyurethane finish, and a sleek profile with no checkering for a lightweight, trim hunting stock.

13.5 inch length of pull, standard

Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull and an Ultra-Mag recoil pad to manage recoil energy during sustained shooting and practice.

Two sling stud positions

One rear stud in the butt and one front stud in the forend, drilled for proprietary HS Precision sling swivel studs to attach slings, bipods or other supporting gear.

The PSS120 is designed for the BDL hinged floor plate, not detachable magazine bottom metal. However, HS Precision detachable magazine conversion kits are available separately and can be installed in this stock without any dimensional modification or gunsmithing required.

Does this stock fit magnum calibers?

Yes. The PSS120 is designed for standard sporter and magnum contour barrels on the Remington 700 short action. The thumbhole design and 1.95 inch stock body width at the widest point are helpful for shooters who prefer the larger magnum calibers.
