The HS Precision PSV029 is a Sendero style varmint stock for Remington 700 long action rifles with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. It weighs about 2.46 lbs and sits at 32.0 inches overall with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull. A full length aluminum bedding block is installed, and the stock is drilled for one sling stud at the rear and one in the forend.

About 39 oz, wide beavertail forend

A Sendero style varmint profile at 32.0 inches overall, weighing about 2.46 lbs, with a wide 2.24 inch forend at the recoil lug that tapers to 1.92 inches at the tip, designed to ride shooting bags.

Full length aluminum bedding block

A proprietary CNC machined aluminum bedding block spans the receiver area, bedding the action without additional fitting.

Semi-pistol grip, no palm swell

The semi-pistol grip is 1.66 inches at its widest point with no palm swell, which HS Precision suggests for shooters with smaller hands or anyone who does not want a palm swell.

13.5 inch length of pull with fixed comb

Fitted with a fixed 13.5 inch length of pull, no checkering, a fixed comb, and a non-slip polyurethane finish.

Designed for varmint barrel contours

Will this stock fit my rifle?

This stock is designed for Remington 700 long action rifles fitted with BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal. If your rifle has an M5 inlet, an ADL blind magazine inlet or a short action, this stock will not fit. The stock is built for varmint and Sendero contour barrels.

Can I use a detachable magazine or M5 inlet?

This stock is inlet for Remington BDL hinged floorplate bottom metal only. HS Precision sells separate detachable magazine conversion kits that can be installed in this stock without any modification or gunsmithing. These kits adapt the stock to use detachable magazines while leaving the BDL opening intact. This stock is not inlet for M5 bottom metal.

What barrel contours fit this forend?

The stock is designed for varmint and Sendero contour barrels. The wide beavertail forend, 2.24 inches at the recoil lug and tapering to 1.92 inches at the tip, is sized to support these heavier barrel profiles and rides shooting bags.

Is this the long action or short action version?

This is the long action version of the Pro Series Varmint stock, designed for Remington 700 long action rifles. HS Precision also makes the PSV002 for short actions. Order the stock that matches your action length; they are not interchangeable.
