Overview
The Manners Pro Hunter is a composite stock for Remington 700 short and long actions weighing 24 to 27 oz in a hunting profile with modern features. The stock comes with a 1" Pachmayr Decelerator pad, ambidextrous thumb shelves, QD flush cups and sling studs installed. Order by action length (SA or LA), bottom metal inlet (BDL or M5), and color.
Full wraparound composite shell in a traditional shape with a flat bottom for bag shooting, integrated Harris and pic rail bipod mount, and a flush-mounted Arca tripod base just forward of the magazine. Elite Hunter shell material provides strength in high-stress areas and lightweight fill elsewhere.
The barrel channel clears a Proof Sendero, M24 or similar contour. The inlet is cut for Remington 700 and most Rem 700 footprint clones with oversized recoil lugs.
Comfortable cheek rise for a large objective scope, with a slight inward taper on the comb to nestle high-recoil cartridges. Molded-in color and texture that does not wear off, and a molded-in notch for bolt clearance on virtually all aftermarket actions.
Choose the BDL inlet for factory Remington floorplate bottom metal or M5 inlet for M5 pattern detachable magazine bottom metal. Bottom metal is not included with the stock.
Thumb shelves on both sides and a reduced web area behind the grip to achieve a wraparound feel, maximizing stability and helping manage felt recoil.

Bottom metal is not included. The stock ships without bottom metal; order the inlet (BDL or M5) that matches the unit you have or are buying with it. Stocks are oversized and ship at a flat rate; they do not qualify for free shipping.

Order BDL if you are keeping the factory Remington hinged floorplate bottom metal. Order M5 if you are fitting M5 pattern detachable magazine bottom metal. Each inlet is cut for that footprint only. The stock ships without bottom metal, so match the inlet to the unit you already have or are buying with it.
This stock is sold in the Remington 700 inlet and fits Remington 700 and most Remington 700 footprint clones with little or no modification. The inlet is cut for oversized recoil lugs. Installed: 1" Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, QD flush cups (front left and rear left), one sling stud in the butt, and molded-in bipod rail and Arca tripod base. Not included: bottom metal, action screws, or pillars. The stock is ready to install on your action and bottom metal assembly.
