NX8 F2 riflescope with a dual scale MIL-CF2D reticle
The Nightforce NX8 4-32x50mm F2 is a second focal plane riflescope built around ED lenses and an 8x zoom ratio. It uses the MIL-CF2D reticle, a dual scale design calibrated for both 16x and 32x, with ZeroStop elevation and DigIllum illumination. A power throw lever ships standard for fast magnification changes.
Dual scale MIL-CF2D reticle
The MIL-CF2D reticle carries a dual scale for correct subtensions at both 16x and 32x, and the power ring is marked with a calibrated dot at the 16x mark.
0.2 MRAD subtensions
A 0.05 MRAD floating center dot and 0.2 MRAD subtensions, with numbers at every other Mil-Radian, are built into the reticle for fast reference.
ED glass, 8x zoom ratio
ED lenses hold optical quality across the 4-32x zoom range in a 13.5 in/343 mm body.
ZeroStop elevation
ZeroStop returns the elevation turret to a set zero after dialing, with 90 MOA/26 MRAD of elevation travel and 70 MOA/20 MRAD of windage.
