The Hunter-L is a lightweight hunting suppressor designed for bolt-action rifles, offering deeper tone, stronger suppression, and softer recoil on magnum cartridges. As Snowy Mountain’s full-length titanium hunting suppressor, it uses a low-profile, adjustable end-cap brake to manage gas and recoil without turning your rifle into a bench-only rig.
The Hunter-L is the big brother in Snowy Mountain's Hunter-Series suppressor lineup, designed for hunters and long-range shooters who want the quietest shot and the softest recoil impulse available in a field-ready suppressor. Like the S model, it’s fully machined from Grade 5 and Grade 9 titanium for high strength, excellent heat resistance, and minimal weight compared to its performance.
With its longer internal volume and tuned baffle geometry, the Hunter-L is built to squeeze every bit of suppression out of each shot. Expect up to 35 dB of sound reduction and up to 65% recoil reduction, with a smoother push instead of a sharp jab. That translates to more comfortable shooting, faster follow-up shots, and better target observation at distance—all while maintaining the accuracy you expect from a premium hunting rifle.
At the front of the suppressor, a low-profile ten-hole end-cap brake breaks up and redirects gas instead of letting it slam straight into the end of the suppressor. You can run it fully open for maximum recoil reduction, or use the supplied threaded screws to plug individual holes and bias gas where you want it—up, down, or to the side. Because the brake is integrated into the end cap instead of hanging off the front, you get more baffles and better suppression in a lighter, more compact package than traditional braked suppressors.
The Hunter-L uses the same universal HUB system as the Hunter-S, accepting interchangeable titanium thread adapters so you can run one suppressor across multiple rifles. Move between 1/2×28, 5/8×24, and 3/4×24 HUB adapters without tools, indexing, or timing issues—just spin it on, confirm zero, and hunt.
Finished in high-temp black Cerakote, the Hunter-L shrugs off weather, heat, and hard field use. It’s magnum-rated and cleared for serious cartridges including .300 Win Mag, .338 Win Mag, and .375 H&H. For hunters who put suppression and recoil control at the top of the list, the Hunter-L delivers maximum performance in a package built for real hunts, not just range days.
