Overview
Single stage trigger for Tikka T3 and T3X, under 4 oz to 32 oz
The TriggerTech Diamond is a single stage trigger for Tikka T3, T3X and T1X actions, adjustable from under 4 oz to 32 oz with a zero creep break. It is sold for right hand actions with a removable safety, and this listing is the PVD black unit available with either a Curved or Flat lever.
Under 4 oz to 32 oz, adjustable
External adjustment via a set screw on the trigger body, set near the middle of the range at the factory. The exact pull weight depends on three things: the firing pin spring weight, the engagement geometry and your adjustment setting. A heavier than factory firing pin spring pushes the whole range up.
Zero creep, under .010" overtravel
Five critical components are assembled as a matched set. Zero Creep Technology does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the engagement surfaces, which is the manufacturer's reason the pull stays consistent shot to shot and after thousands of rounds.
Two levers, one finish
Curved with a traditional grip profile, or Flat with a straight edge for a different feel. Every Diamond is PVD black.
7075 aluminum housing, 440C internals
The housing is anodized 7075 aluminum and the key components are hardened 440C stainless steel. The PVD black finish is a physical vapor deposition coating on the external stainless parts.
CLKR Technology and matched components
Built with TriggerTech's proprietary systems for consistent trigger control and reliability, with five critical components assembled as a matched set.
Lifetime warranty
TriggerTech covers manufacturing defects for the life of the product and handles claims directly.

Fitment
Will it work with your build?
Works with
- Tikka T3 actions
- Tikka T3X actions
- Tikka T1X actions
- Right hand actions
- Rifles with a removable safety
Will not work with
- Left hand actions: this listing is the right hand unit
- Tikka actions that require a non-removable or integrated safety (if any)
Read this before ordering. This is the right hand unit; left hand actions require a different product. The safety is removable, so your old trigger's safety does not transfer. Pull weights are approximate and vary between actions; a heavier than factory firing pin spring can push the pull above 32 oz.
Detail
Fitting it and the fine print
How do I adjust the pull weight?
With the rifle unloaded, adjust the set screw on the trigger body. The exact pull weight depends on three things: the firing pin spring weight in your action, the engagement geometry (fixed by TriggerTech) and the adjustment you set. A heavier than factory firing pin spring pushes the whole range up, so if your measured weight reads above 32 oz, check the firing pin spring. TriggerTech recommends running the trigger at or above the factory setting until you have some time on it.
Does it need oil, and what can damage it?
No oil. The trigger is designed to run dry, and TriggerTech asks that gun oil and cleaning products be kept away from it; if it is contaminated, flush it with lighter fluid and blow it out with compressed air rather than opening the housing. Two things can damage it: a pierced primer or overpressure event, and closing the bolt on an improperly timed action.
Which lever do I order?
Curved has the traditional bent profile; Flat is straight-edged. All are PVD black. The trigger underneath is the same; the lever choice is about hand feel and how you lay your finger on it. The Flat lever lets you move your finger up or down to adjust the effective pull, while the Curved profile guides your finger to one spot.
